Lighthouse Church is looking for a couple of students to serve in paid ministry at our Ladner campus as Ministry Interns.  One in the area of youth ministry and the other in Music & Worship.  The expectations are for approximately 10 hrs/week and would run from September 2025 - April 2026.   This would a great opportunity to prepare for ministry post graduation and to earn internship credits with a college.  Pay rate is $20/hour.  Assistance with gas costs would also be considered.

YOUTH MINISTRY INTERN

  • We are looking for someone to work directly with our Tuesday youth nights (7 - 9 pm) giving leadership to the volunteer youth sponsors and developing the bible study and evening agenda.   We currently have approximately 15-20 youth who gather each week.  
  • This intern would also dedicate their Sundays for involvement in Ladner Campus Sunday morning services (9:30 - 11:00).  Helping out in various roles and connecting as much as possible with our high school students. Involvement would include platform ministry as well as teaching and serving with our various classes.

WORSHIP/MUSIC INTERN

  • The focus of the worship/music intern is the development of Sunday morning services with an opportunity to learn and grow in the areas of volunteer coordination, platform ministry, leading in worship and hospitality ministries.  Time commitments would include pre-service and post-service preparations as well as mid-week support (which can be done remotely).

FLEXIBILITY

Various options for building the weekly routine are possible and will be discussed with candidates seeking this opportunity.
