"How" We Do It

1. Safety! Children are unique and special, as well as highly moldable and impressionable.  Because of this, we value the utmost safety of every child, physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.  We are not only passionate about crushing issues such as bullying, insecurity, manipulation and fear; we also desire to create an overall environment of health and a feeling of safety for every child.
2. The Journey. We know that transformation is a process and requires a long-term approach.  We are not as driven to get all kids to a certain learning outcome as we are about helping kids move forward in the journey of life.  Our staff functions as 'coaches' and models of Christ, acting as an arm of support to the family in the biblical teaching and spiritual growth of the child.  Our strategy includes the use of age-appropriate curriculum so that each child can learn what's needed for their current point in the journey.
3. Biblical Practices. We believe that life flourishes best when it is in line with the plans that God laid out for us when we were created.  We believe that there are necessary skills a child needs to live a life that shines for Jesus.  These skills are anchored in our study of the Word of God and include areas such as, but not limited to: prayer, worship, serving, evangelism, generosity, confession and scripture reading, memorization and dedication.
4. Working with the Family. We believe the home is the premier place for raising kids of faith.  Because of this, we realize that we are simply a support branch to the already existing family (NOT the spiritual gurus).  We value open communication between staff and parents in the endeavor to maximize the probability of kids growing healthy and becoming more like Christ.
